When you’re on the job, your comfort and safety depend on wearing garments that fit you properly. Tyndale has devoted considerable resources toward creating garments that are sized accurately so they fit comfortably. The sizing chart below will help you identify the Tyndale garments that are the perfect fit for you.

Men's Sizing Information

Note: All numbers listed apply to Tyndale garments and are measurements of the garment itself unless labeled with 'Body'.

Men's Pant Fits:

Relaxed Fit: Relaxed fit pants and jeans are cut to provide extra room in the seat and thigh. This style is roomier than regular fit.
Regular Fit: This style is considered the “middle of the road” or “average fit.” Regular fit pants fall in between relaxed fit and a slim fit.

Due to the nature of flame resistant fabrics, these pants will shrink approximately 1” in length during the first 25 washings, and will shrink a total of 2” in length during the first 50 washings. Please order your pants with sufficient length to account for this progressive shrinkage.

Note: Regular height is 5’ 8” - 6”; Tall is 6’ 2” - 6’ 4”. Long measures 2” longer overall and 2” longer in the sleeves.

How to Measure

Neck | Select a collared shirt that fits you well. Lay the collar flat and measure from the far end of the button hole to the button. Round up to the nearest inch for your neck measurement.

CHEST | Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades at the widest part of your chest. Be sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor. If waist is greater than chest measurement, use waist measurement.

INSEAM | Without shoes; measure on the inside of your leg, from crotch to below your ankle.

HIPS | Measure the widest point between your natural waist and crotch.

WAIST | At your natural waistline, measure where your pants would normally ride. For an accurate measurement, do not measure over other clothing.

How Should My AR / FR Clothing Fit?

Ideally, your garments will be large enough for freedom of movement but trim enough so as not to be a snag hazard while working around equipment. Learn more about achieving the right fit for both comfort and safety.
