To our Valued Customers:

Updated April 7, 2020

First and foremost, I hope that you and your families are safe and healthy during this global pandemic. On behalf of myself and all Tyndale employee members, we wish you well. We recognize that with the constantly changing COVID-19 situation around the world, this is an unprecedented time for everyone. You have our commitment to continue providing you with the products and services your business depends on to keep your employees safe as they work to maintain the vital energy infrastructure in our country. Thank you for the important work that you do every day.

As a valued Tyndale customer, we understand the importance of the products and services we provide to you and your business. You rely on us to provide the protective apparel that is vitally important to keeping your workers safe on the job every day.

Tyndale’s business continuity plan has been fully in place for several weeks; we have fine-tuned it as we have learned about the specific risks associated with COVID-19. Our continuity plan places the highest priority on keeping our employees, families, and communities as healthy and safe as possible. Our supply chain is strong – our fabric suppliers continue to manufacture and all but one of our cut-and-sew facilities are operational. All facilities have enacted stringent social distancing measures, continuous disinfecting and split shifts where possible. These actions are designed to minimize risk to our employees and ensure continued service to you, to the extent we are able.

Last week we announced plans to offer an FR surgical-style face mask based on the most recent CDC recommendation to wear masks in public. The demand has been overwhelming and we are working to ensure a fully transparent and fair allocation throughout the industry. Our goal is to ensure all workers receive one mask initially, since the masks are fully washable and reusable.

  • Initial deliveries will be to those utilities in the areas most severely impacted.
  • Next, we will ensure one mask is available to employees at companies in other locations that have placed an order.
  • Finally, we will provide additional masks, allocating up to five per person (for a full weekly supply).

We continue to monitor the situation and will make updates to our plan where necessary. The measures have been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees in this challenging time, and to ensure we maintain our ability to serve you, our customer, for the long term. Our senior leadership team remains vigilant and is monitoring the situation in real time and responding rapidly as conditions evolve.

Please be safe and stay healthy.
