How is useful life measured? When should I retire my garment?

If your garments are purchased from Tyndale, useful life comes down to purely mechanical – that is, structural – reasons:

1. If it’s damaged in such a way that it can’t be repaired, or such that the garment’s appearance would no longer meet your company’s brand image standards after repair.
2. If it’s stained with flammable contaminants over more than a small percentage of the garment’s surface area.
3. Indicators of wear like threadbare areas, excessive wear or abrasion – particularly on stress points like elbow or knee areas, broken closures, frayed seams, rips, or cuts.

Damage is minor. Can my garment be repaired instead?

AR / FR garments should always be repaired with AR / FR materials. Tyndale offers complimentary AR / FR repair kits for home repairs as well as routine repair services.
