VIDEO: COVID-19 Safety and Risks Presentation

Over the past 12+ weeks, Tyndale’s Vice President of Technical, Scott Margolin, has been entrenched in researching COVID-19, how it relates to flame resistant (FR) clothing, and how we can keep our customers – those required to wear FR clothing – safe on the job. In doing this research, Scott has developed extensive knowledge around the virus and created a video intended for the general public which provides information about COVID-19 and how you can evaluate risk as our nation begins to reopen. NOTE: this is education on the COVID-19 risk and is NOT specifically focused on FR clothing.

Please note, this video is not designed or intended to tell you what to do or how to think. It is written to provide accurate and complete information to allow you to make the best and most educated decisions possible for yourself and your family. Scott is not a medical doctor, however, he has studied the various reports, scientific analysis, and medical data extensively and in the video below, he presents where there is a majority consensus among these various positions. In this comprehensive video, you will learn:

  • What is Coronavirus? What Does the Infection Require?
  • The 5 Ds of COVID-19: Distance, Dose, Dilution, Duration, and Disinfect

And, if you are a worker who is required to wear FR clothing on the job and don’t have an FR mask –know that there are options available through Tyndale. Tyndale has diverted a significant portion of our American manufacturing capacity to making FR surgical-style masks (see video below). In addition, we are sourcing masks from our key FR suppliers. Masks are available for personal purchase (links below) but require approval by your safety organization:
