Earlier this month, Tyndale and Carhartt took their shared commitment to safety on the road for a stop at the annual Independent Electrical Contractors Convention & Expo in St. Louis. As part of our year-long co-marketing initiative, Tyndale and Carhartt sponsored two events at the gathering – an educational roundtable and a Townhall meeting of the organization’s Emerging Leaders.
Dubbed the “future of the electrical industry” by IEC, individuals invited to join the Emerging Leaders group are younger IEC members who have recently taken on leadership responsibilities in their companies. The Emerging Leaders organization offers an opportunity for these up-and-comers to share information and insight with their peers that will help them succeed in their new roles.
As sponsors, Tyndale and Carhartt were invited to address the assembled members and answer their questions. Tyndale National Account Executive, Clyde Wolfe, and Carhartt Account Representative, Bill Noble, spent some time sharing their knowledge on topics including the importance of wearing flame resistant clothing on the job, the different types of FRC on the market, and how these new leaders can spearhead the effort to make sure independent electrical contractors are taking the necessary precautions to keep workers safe.
Clyde and Bill also demonstrated some of the newest, most innovative FR garments on the market, including Carhartt’s new 4.7 oz. lightweight longsleeve FR Force™ workshirt. To cap off the event, attendees were invited to enter a drawing to win one of five backpacks filled with Carhartt gear, including the new 4.7 oz shirt.
The five winners of the drawing are:
We’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate the winners of the drawing, along with all of the attendees for rising to leadership roles in their organizations. When it comes to keeping you and your colleagues safe, Tyndale and Carhartt have your backs.
